Artists who had used "Rhoplex" (a registered trade name) will find that this GAC most closely reflects the properties to which they were accustomed. The GAC 100 is a useful polymer for protecting against Support Induced Discoloration (S.I.D.). The most flexible with a moderate level of tack and gloss. Useful for diluting and extending colors, especially when film flexibility and integrity are important characteristics. Wets pigment surfaces well. The most ideal for artists formulating their own paints.

Golden Molding paste Gallon : Molding Paste is what Sam Golden called a similar product at Bocour and he simply carried the name forward to his new company. GOLDEN Molding Paste is made similarly to other brands of acrylic modeling pastes . But unlike Molding Pastes from most other manufacturers, it can be rolled without cracking. It dries to a light gray finish and is not as opaque as the Light Molding Paste, so less color is required to overcome its tinting ability. The surface of Molding Paste has a fair degree of absorbency which will allow for the application of stains of thinned down color. It also provides great adhesion for subsequent coats of acrylic colors. Molding Paste will not hold high peaks unless puddled in large quantities.

Golden Gloss Medium is also the best product for blocking Support Induced Discoloration, also known a SID, which is when contaminants are drawn into paints and mediums as they dry. You can protect your canvas or board from this phenomenon by applying GOLDEN Gloss Medium before starting an acrylic painting. Gloss Medium medium works best when two or more coats are applied directly onto the support. Once dry, the canvas can then be primed and finally painted with less potential for discoloration.
